Repipta taurus is also known as Horned Assassin Bug or Red Bull Assassin due to their spines on the back side. This insect was found around Ryukyu Daigaku, Okinawa, Japan. As the insect predator, they prey on flies, caterpillars, beetles, and so on. Because they kill their preys stealthy, they are called as assassin. They have curved proboscis which is useful to attack their preys. The color is bright red and black.
