A green algae, Boergesenia forbesii, has captured in intertidal area of Pari Island, Jakarta (Indonesia). Easy to distinguish, this algae attach on hard substrate and have unique physical feature. Boergesenia forbesii contains fluid vesicles which brings up the bright green coloration. The surface is smooth and shiny. It can be solitary or grow up in colonies. Containing chloroplast, this algae inhabit photic zone in marine environment.
